Edwina Ashton makes videos, drawings, sculptures, costumes and performances. She has had solo exhibitions of her work at Peer, London, Camden Arts Centre London and WORKS|PROJECTS, Bristol. Performances have included Kitten Triage at SWA Glasgow International Festival, Kittens in a basket at Gavle KonstCentrum, Sweden, A Tea Party for SEVEN SITES, Manchester and Peaceful Serious Creatures (lobster arranging) at the Jerwood Space and in More Soup and Tart, Barbican Art Gallery, London. She was part of the group exhibitions Puppet Show (at Eastside Projects Birmingham, Gavle KonstCentrum, Sweden and Grundy Art Gallery, Blackpool) and No Now! at Space Station 65, London. She is currently working on the 2016 Children’s Commission at the Whitechapel Gallery, London. Ashton is represented by WORKS|PROJECTS gallery Bristol.
