White, upright but crooked. Long hardy stems, with woody roots and curved, slowly formed tips. Upwards, outwards, reaching. Gnarly fingers, with tips like witches toes. Albino and obscure. Albino, alfresco, jello. Set in jelly. Or stood in jars.

Since graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 2012 Rebecca has been a resident artist at One Thoresby Street, an artist-led gallery and studio complex in Nottingham. She has been selected for the Nottingham Castle Open in 2012 and 2013 and Exeter Phoenix Open in 2013, and undertaken multiple residencies including; HotelMariaKapel, Holland and Bloc Projects, Sheffield. Recent shows include; Here we are now, entertain us, COLLAR, Manchester, Tassels ā€™nā€™ That, Bloc Projects, Sheffield, Manchester Contemporary Art Fair and Sluice Art Fair. Other commissions include; Crouching Fan, Hidden Dragon, QUAD, Derby, Girls Girls Girls, for Girls, Oriel Wrexham and Sunscreen, an online project curated by Candice Jacobs for EM15 at 56th Venice Biennale.
